CADI and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung hosted an advanced summer seminar for graduate students in social science and political philosophy at Bradul Hotel, Poiana Brasov, between September 21 and 26.

Follow up:

The sessions and workshops of the CADI-KAS Advanced Summer School in Poiana Brasov played a significant role in defining the research activity and forming the reseach team for the  “The Cost of the State” research project. Using an economic analysis of institutions, a team of 15 participants in the Summer School, CADI researchers and associates from Society of Individual Liberty (SoLib) analyzed 12 hidden costly aspects of the machinery of the state. The collection The Cost of the Statecould not have been published without the intense meetings at Poiana Brasov.
