If we take after official statistics of Romania, the police ("safe and reliable") fails to solve than one-third of reported crimes of bizarre. In this third of a presumed offenders only about half are convicted by the courts, many being released for lack of evidence. In other words, not only did the police fails to catch criminals, but more and make your life a calvary of a considerable number of people accusing them falsely (or, if you prefer the right intuitions are so incompetent that they fail to gather the evidence needed). If we make the mistake to look at television, you see that most of the acts of bravery of police are overseeing the demolition section terraces and, respectively, terrorizing the regular prostitutes or drug sellers. In other words, the aggression against some individuals who do not meet a request to a market that, because of the stupiditatii that surrounds us, it happens to be illegal. We have therefore a police that waste resources fighting against small merchants, sex and entertainment, while non-let them escape the true criminals who kill, steal and violates. Just as I do not have the illusion that the police system will be reformed anytime soon so that State to fulfil what the story says asleep libertarian, would be his most basic function: to defend us. But that's not going to happen anytime soon! Even so, we can claim to have more control over those who walks among us weapons and we can ask with greater insistence that our rights to be respected and appliances. The solution how how realistic that you see I would be like when they make local elections to make choices and the directors of the departments of the police in the jurisdiction of which we find ourselves. The directors of the departments of the police should be called at the Center, but must advocate the competence in front of us, and we must have the right directly to change those who fail to defend their rights.
