CADI-Eleutheria invites you to the workshop Austrian Economics for Start Ups: What Do Entrepreneurs Need to Know?, Monday May 18, 17:30. The discussion will take place at CADI’s office from Apartment 5 , mezzanine, 59 Jean Luis Calderon Street it will be held in English.

Presented by:

Prof. Anthony Evans, Associate Professor of Economics at ESCP Europe Business School; Senior Fellow at Adam Smith Institute; member at IEA (Institute of Economic Affairs)

In this talk Anthony J. Evans will provide an overview of some of the key insights of his new textbook on Managerial Economics: ‘Markets for Managers’. The focus will be on how to incorporate Austrian economic thinking into your decision making and how to recognise and create value on a daily basis.

Anthony J. Evans’ new book ‘Markets for Managers’ is an outlier: an introduction to ‘the dismal science’ that is both lucid and clear (and correct!) whilst giving a good guide to what the mainstream is thinking. The author will explain how to think like an economist, providing the tools to incorporate economic analysis into your everyday and business decision-making. Whether you’re a student or part of the working world, this is not one to be missed for essential business, economic and strategic insights.

Anthony J. Evans is a Senior Fellow of the Adam Smith Institute and Associate Professor of Economics at ESCP Europe Business School, specializing in Managerial Economics at the MBA and Executive MBA level. He is a member of the Institute of Economic Affairs’ Shadow Monetary Policy Committee, with appearances in broadsheet newspapers, and on the BBC World Service and Newsnight.
