Home / The September School of Social Sciences and Political Philosophy (September 10-13, 2011, Bucharest)

The decades of suppression of critical thinking suffocated civic culture and social scientific knowledge in Romania.

The September School, the annual CADI and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung seminar, is expanding educational options and try to form networks of people interested in the theoretical and practical aspects of institutional development.

This year our Special Guests were:

David Schmidtz, Professor of Philosophy and Economics, University of Arizona,

James Otteson, Professor of Philosophy and Economics at Yeshiva University in New York, and Charles G. Koch Senior Fellow at the Fund for American Studies in Washington, DC,

Tom Palmer, Vice President for International Programs at Atlas Economic Research Foundation, Senior Fellow at Cato Institute, Washington D.C.

A CADI – Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Project in partnership with Atlas Foundation, Institute for Economic Studies – Europe and the Freedom Center at the University of Arizona.
