The Foundation of the Centre for analysis and Institutional Development Eleutheria along with Romanian Institute of Training Association is launching a new social development project "Link on the first job" project co-financed by the European Social Fund through the sectoral operational programme human resources development 2007-2013. The project is being carried out between May and November 2014-2015.

Launching Conference of the project will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at 11.00.

Venue: the French library, Bessarabia nr. 14.

The project aims to provide high school students (Class XI-XII) support necessary in making the most appropriate decisions about what they will do in the future, whether this involves further study, finding a job or opening a business, so the transition from school to active life to be a positive experience.

"Link to first job" will be implemented in secondary schools in the counties of Vrancea and Galaţi for a minimum of 360 students who have not yet taken a decision related to the career planning or not receiving plane for this purpose.

Students enrolled in this project will participate in counseling sessions and group vocational guidance supported by people with a high qualification and expertise in the field of personal and professional development. During these workshops, group counseling pupils discover strengths, will outline the expectations regarding career and action needs to reach to reach in the chosen field.

The whole project will be organised and 16 seminars online (webinars) students will prepare to capitalize on as far as opportunities for personal and professional development which they have at their disposal. Will be addressed topics such as time management, preparation of applications for the College, training opportunities after graduating average entrepreneurial thinking studies, financial education, employee bargaining rights, communication in the workplace, conflict resolution, fast learning techniques, volunteer opportunities and practice.

Also under the project will be developed on a platform with information and helpful resources for students who want to discover and understand what skills and competencies are needed for a successful career. Within the online platform will be able to access students ' audio-video materials and interviews with successful entrepreneurs and professionals who will talk about the way that they have travelled to achieve success professionally.

Our specialists will support counseling Counseling session online and telephone "one on one" during which students will have the opportunity to explore new career directions and new skills are not aware or that fail to make sufficient worth. All they will sprini students in drawing up a plan of personalized career to help them pursue their goals consistently and professionally.

Practical experience before the end of the school is most often decisive for the first job. Even a day spent at a job can be helpful to learn directly from the source what it truly means a job in a specific field. That's why we offer students the opportunity to participate in study tours to local employers, to see how it looks for a job in reality.

Throughout the project the students will be familiar with all volunteer opportunities, internships, scholarships, jobs or studies, which we make available on the online platform with video testimonials and tips employers applied from those who have already found the answer to the question: what do I do after you finish high school?

Launching Conference of the project are invited students, parents, high school teachers, principals, representatives from school councils, school counselors and other representatives of the teaching staff.
