The books translated, coordinated or published by the CADI experts and partners pursue the same principles and values which can be found in other activities of the foundation: liberal movement and re-establishing the center-right politics, critical analysis of the current institutional order, the capitalist experiment.

• Ion Novăcescu,”The Media Lynching in Romanian Politics. 1919. The Truth vs. I. C. Brătianu” (Adevărul Collection) presents the chronicle of the first media lynching in the Romanian press; the most powerful statesman of the Greater Romanian, the liberal Prim-Minister I. C. Brătianu was executed in 1919, for 333 days, by the great journalist Constantin Mile- the founding father of the Romanian modern press- and its influential journal, Adevărul.
• Ionuț Sterpan and Dragoș Paul Aligică (publishers), “Intellectual Center-Right: Theories and Schools of Thought of the Western Contemporary Center-Right” (Humanitas, 2011) contains a analysis of the ideas that intellectually influence the western center-right, from political philosophies that define the contemporary western civilization, criticisms to some cultural phenomena that have institutional implications, or fundamental research programs that have reformed the social and humanistic subjects, to macroeconomics schools of thought, sociological and philosophical trials of exploring the relation between the capitalism and Christianity, or applications of economic theory regarding the study of the economic growth phenomenon. The reviews expressed hope that this book, the first trial of this kind in Romania, will contribute both to the study of the social and humanistic subjects and to the modernization of the political debate.
• Valeriu Stoica and Dragoș Paul Aligică,”Rebuilding the Center-Right: Between the Western Capitalist Experiment and the Romanian National Project” (Humanitas 2009) is reviving the debate against the so-called liberalist architecture that is coming from the anti-liberalism and anti-capitalism radicalism of the inter-war period.
• Tiberiu Schatteles, “Economics, Epistemology and Forecasting” (Triton 2007) is retrieving and replacing, in the Romanian intellectual circuit, the thinking of Tiberiu Schatteles, one of the most thoroughly and original researcher in the economic forecasting and planning field of study, in the Socialist Romania era.

Under the foundation’s name there have been published translations of some important works in the economic theories and political philosophies field of study:

• Tom Palmer (ed.), “The Morality of Capitalism: What Your Professors Won’t Tell You” (Adevărul, 2013), translated by Tudor Goldeanu, with significant contributions from Mario Vargas Llosa, Vernon Smith, John Mackey and Ludwig Lachmannș, the book represents an anthology that clarifies the sources of the economic value and wealth: entrepreneurial creativity, property rights and free markets, and dismantles, step by step, the current anti-capitalism myths.
• Richard E. Wagner and James M. Buchanan, “Democracy in Deficit: The Political Legacy of Lord Keynes” (Humanitas 2013), translated by Radu Șimandan; the book presents a systematic way to apply the basic principles of public choice analysis to macroeconomic theory and policy. The book analysis the fiscal and monetary policies’ choices, starting from the economical presumption that each individual, even when he/she participates to the public choice process (individual as voter, expert, central banker, politician), he/she follows his/her own interests.
• David Schmidtz, “The Elements of Justice” (Humanitas 2012), is a philosophical trial of showing that shifting from the classic liberalism towards social-democracy is rather a mistake. Together with his colleagues from Arizona University, David Schmidt is responsible for the top position occupied in 2010 and 2011 by the political philosophy program at the University, in the Philosophical Gourmet – the most well-known world-ranking of universities’ departments.
• James Gwartney, Richard Stroup and Dwight Lee,“ Economic Liberalism: An Introduction” (Humanitas 2009), renamed “Common Sense Economics: What Everyone Should Know About Prosperity and Wealth” (Tritonic 2015) is an economic thinking guide that draws the line between the economic growth, economic theories and the ghosts of the progress.
