Today’s monetary system is largely described by fractional reserve institution, central bank’s legal monopoly (institution) to emit coin and the specific coin use restriction. Are all these institutions responsible for capitalist failure and liberal policy failure? How do they contribute to create business cycles? What are the alternatives?
