The decision taken at the last meeting of the Synod of the Orthodox Church allows priests to run at public functions in local councils. To the extent that local councils are structures of the State, what implications does the plus formal representation of the interests of the Church in these structures? Who would have rather won etatizarea of the Church? Who and why would they have won if instead, we witness a politics/civic involvement for the coherence of the Church independent of the State's structures? (Shows Ponkan)
