Intro
In terms of economic, social and cultural, rural Romania lies in a State of chronic underdevelopment. The so-called reasons are multiple, but one is permanent: local political organizing inadequacy. Where exactly was wrong? How can fix it?
Horia aims Tabia research the evolution of a particular local political arrangement: the archetype of the archaic village democracy in Eastern Europe, still functional. We can explore a number of revisions made to the understanding of nature, and its devolutiei survival:
-The arrangement proved in a remarkable capacity to adapt, as well as democratic and economic qualities desirable.
-These qualities gives superiority by comparison with the current or in Romania, namely the commune.
Horia Athar concludes by imagining a new local institutional arrangement, which he named devalmasa, resulted from the commune of irregular surface structure present in the House of Commons of the key institutions of the obstilor. Profile of the new political entity is a joint corporatizate, and pursues economic and democratic potential performance enhancement of current arrangements.
More even than a solution to the problems of rural Romania, this institutional design may be a new solution to the problems of local self-government with the impressive qualities of generalization. Generalization is possible because the solution the institutional design advanced is one of principle: Doubling the democratic vote equal to the same proportion as a concrete and public property.
