In June 2006, CADI alleviation project runs that lead to bureaucratic corruption within Customs, funded through the Global Opportunities Fund Reuniting Europe, run by the British Embassy in Romania.

The project benefits from the cooperation of the national authority of Vamilor (ANV) and Alliance for economic development of Romania-ADER and aims to develop a Plan of measures for preventing and combating corruption in the customs sector, based on a sociological research by which will be polled so civil servants from customs, and representatives of private companies with import/export activities.

In addition, the project aims to transform the meetings between officials of the NRA and representatives of professional associations and business events scheduled for an effective approach to the problems of both parties.
