We put temporary disasters in a State in which we are easier to handle. This is the "shock doctrine", to employ or take advantage of forms in order to shock acapararii power. The method is found at institutional level: first, a natural disaster or a war, prepares the ground for implementation by an elite, instituitional wanted. Once implemented, it's controlled by the shock therapies, e.g. torture applied some bowlers.
The idea for the book of Naomi Klein's The Shock Doctrine. The Rise of Disaster Capitalism, the new Bible of antiglobalistilor and left movements everywhere is to find historical situations in which method it's put into the service of capitalism: Pinochet in Chile, Sachs in Bolivia, Rumsfeld in Iraq. The strategy of the book lies in joining the element of brutal and undemocratic situation with excerpts from the ideas of Milton Friedman. Milton Friedman and capitalist elite, she says, have understood this philosophy of supervision and have used it to implement unpopular economic model.
